December 7, 2009, Van Buren, Ark. – Three Employees were recognized with the highest award of 2009 at Summit Medical Center’s annual Christmas party. The Nurse of the year award went to Renda Brown for her outstanding service at Cornerstone Clinic. Melissa Anderson took the Employee of the year award for her excellent patient care and Manager of the Year went to Mark Shadwick, Director of IT. Shadwick helped implement and install several new pieces of technology within the hospital during 2009.
